Mediation
Mediation is a structured, collaborative process where a neutral third party helps both parties come to a mutual agreement regarding the dispute at hand. The mediator utilizes specialized communication and negotiation skills to assist both parties to express their needs and concerns, while being able to hear the other’s thoughts and perspective. Oftentimes, mediation is a good middle ground between two parties to come to an agreement without the involvement of a judge, or other legal person, and saves both parties time and money.
